Tottenham Hotspur’s offer has been rejected.
“Leicester City are set to reject Tottenham’s £50 million ($82 million) bid for James Maddison and Harvey Barnes,” according to Football Insider.
“Leicester’s position is that Tottenham’s offer is well below their threshold,” it added.
Maddison is an attacking midfielder from the second-tier English Football League Championship who has been with Leicester since 2018.
His presence is unmistakable. He’s a sharp passer with the ability to score goals. With 10 goals and nine assists, he has been a key resource for Leicester this season.
He is under contract with Leicester until June 2024 and has not been linked with an extension.
Barnes, who Spurs are targeting alongside Maddison, is a flanker. He can play in the same position as Son Heung-min.먹튀검증
Tottenham’s plan is to add Barnes to their flanking attack.
Tottenham have shown a willingness to capitalize on Leicester’s relegation to lure both Maddison and Barnes.
However, Leicester are not budging. They want Tottenham to spend more money.
