Seungjang Coach Tae-woong Choi “I think I played 4 games well in 10 days”

Choi Tae-woong, head coach of Hyundai Capital, started the official interview by saying, “There are players who are definitely tired after playing 4 games in 10 days.

Hyundai Capital, led by coach Choi, rose to the top again with a 3-0 victory over Woori Card on the road to Seoul on the 24th.

In the ‘high ground’ emphasized by director Choi Tae-woong, it was the first step to gain an advantage.

Coach Tae-Woong Choi said, “It seems that the players were embarrassed at the beginning of the game when Agamez came out as a middle blocker. However, Oreol and (former) Gwangin held the center well.”

Hyundai Capital used Heo Soo-bong as a middle blocker in the first set, but changed the formation to an apositive spiker in the second set. Regarding this, coach Choi Tae-woong further explained, “Since the opponent has a high block in front of us, we needed to strengthen the side. So, we put Subong-i on the right side and (Park) Sang-ha was put in as a middle blocker.” 스포츠토토

Regarding the part where Lee Hyun-seung did well but couldn’t finish the game, coach Choi Tae-woong said, “This is the situation I’m most concerned about. The situation under increasing pressure will continue. I can’t tell the young (Lee) Hyun-seung to overcome it all. It can’t be. It’s my job to get him out of that pressure.”

Currently, Hyunseung Lee is a candidate for the Rookie Award. The competitor is Kim Jun-woo (Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance). Regarding this, coach Choi Tae-woong expressed his support for Lee Hyun-seung, saying, “Until now, I know that the top team players received the rookie award.”

Director Choi Tae-woong emphasized the competition for the lead, saying, “I will only think about the high ground battle now.” Coach Choi, who was aiming to go directly to the championship match, was also burning up his desire to win.

After playing 4 games in 10 days, Hyundai Capital will play the second game of the 6th round against Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance on March 2nd.
