Scoreless lead & 3 hits one-man show, first game after perfect transfer of 4.6 billion catchers

“It was my first game with a new team, so I was excited and looked forward to it”.

NC Dinos catcher Park Se-hyeok performed perfectly in offense and defense and won the first game after the transfer.

Park Se-hyeok, who transferred from Doosan to NC in November of last year for 4 years and up to 4.6 billion won, wore a starting mask in the opening game of the regular season against Samsung held at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on the 1st. There must have been a lot of pressure to do well in his first game after his transfer. He played his best performance to the point where it felt like ‘I can’t do better than this’.

Eric Peddy, the first starter who stepped on Korean soil this season, led the way with five scoreless innings. Peddy, who worked with Park Se-hyuk, enjoyed the joy of victory with 4 hits, 3 walks, 6 strikeouts and no runs in 5 innings, using various pitches including a fastball of up to 145 km, a two-seam fastball, curveball, cut fastball, and changeup.  스포츠토토

Director Kang In-kwon and Peddy both gave thumbs up to Park Se-hyuk’s perfect lead.

“Starter Peddy raised the team atmosphere with good pitches as a first-choice starter and set the stage for victory. He also showed perfect harmony with catcher Park Se-hyeok.” (Coach Kang In-kwon)

“Today, I used the cutter against left-handed hitters and the curve against right-handed hitters, and the changeup worked well regardless of right-handed or left-handed hitters. Park Se-hyeok’s leadership as a KBO veteran was good. Today’s scoreless score is thanks to Park Se-hyuk.” (Pedi)

Park Se-hyeok’s performance in the attack was outstanding. He came on as the second batter and showed off his fierce sense of hitting with 3 hits, 1 RBI and 1 run in 4 at-bats.

Park Se-hyeok, who played his first game after transferring, said, “I was excited and excited because it was my first game with my new team. I would be lying if I said there was no tension, but I got a hit from the first at-bat, so I was able to play a little more comfortably.”

He added, “Peddie seemed nervous and excited in the beginning, but he seemed to lead the fifth inning well by talking to him so that he could throw as calmly as possible.”

After recruiting Park Se-hyuk, Lim Seon-nam, NC general manager, said, “Park Se-hyuk is a stable catcher with experience in winning the Korean Series and the national team. “I have said

Park Se-hyeok left a strong impression from the first game after the transfer. He clearly showed that NC’s choice was right. /
