Celtic manager Enze Postecoglou will take charge of English Premier League side Tottenham starting next season.
Tottenham announced the appointment of Enze Postecoglou on Saturday via their official website. He has signed a four-year contract. The announcement concludes a tumultuous search for a new manager after Antonio Conte was sacked last season.
While his appointment has only just been officially announced, Postecoglou has already had a hand in Tottenham’s transfer market policy. Postecoglou already has a list of players he wants.
According to the UK’s Mirror, “Postecoglou’s transfer policy philosophy is: ‘Get rid of players, get rid of players, get rid of players. Postecoglou is ready to sign several players to reshape the Tottenham squad,” reports the Mirror.
According to the outlet, there are three players in particular that Postecoglou has his eye on. He’s looking at goalkeeper, midfield, and defense.
The first priority is to find a replacement for veteran goalkeeper Hugo Joris. One player Postecoglou wants is Brentford’s David Laya. Three other players are on Postecoglou’s radar, including Leicester City midfielder James Maddison and Wolverhampton defender Maximilian Kilman.먹튀검증
The biggest problem the next Tottenham manager will have to solve. Harry Kane. Kane has been heavily linked with a move away from the club. Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs chasing Kane.
However, Postecoglou is adamant that he won’t let Kane go. “Postecoglou will do everything to keep Kane at the club,” says the Mirror. He has said this to his contacts.”
