The Pohang Steelers have strengthened their midfield with the signing of Han Chan-hee.
“The club has signed midfielder Han Chan-hee from FC Seoul, who will wear the number 16,” Pohang announced on April 22.
Han, a former Jeonnam Dragons youth player, has been an integral part of the team since his debut with Jeonnam in 2016. He led Jeonnam’s offense alongside his former teammate Lee Yong-joon. In his four years with Jeonnam, Han was a consistent performer, recording nine goals and 11 assists in 113 K League games. He then moved to Seoul in 2020 and spent the 2021-2022 season with Gimcheon Sangmu.
Han’s strength is his strong and accurate kicks. Her passing and shooting are both strong and accurate. When the offense is not going well and she needs to find a way through, she has the ability to solve it with her strong kick, whether it’s a pass to open up the left side or the other way around, or a mid-range shot. His ball-handling skills are also good, as he doesn’t lose the ball easily, and he looks good on forward dribbles.
Pohang will be able to run their offense more smoothly with the addition of Han Chan-hee. After completing his medical test on July 20, he joined the Songra clubhouse on July 21 and has been working with the existing Pohang players since then.바카라
Han will be officially registered as a Pohang player on the 23rd, when the summer transfer window opens. Instead, Lee Seung-mo will leave Pohang to join Seoul in a trade.
