Kang Sung-hoon and Kim Seong-hyun tied for 50th in the 1st round of the PGA Tour Mexico Open

Kang Sung-hoon and Kim Seong-hyun tied for 50th in the first round of the PGA Tour Mexico Open (total prize money: $7.7 million).

In the first round of the tournament held in Vidanta Vallarta (par 71), Mexico on the morning of the 28th (Korean time), Kang added 3 birdies and 2 bogeys, leaving 2 under par 69 strokes. Kim Seong-hyun took 6 birdies, but added 2 bogeys and 1 double bogey, and tied for 50th with a 2 under par 69 strokes. Ahn Byeong-hun tied for 65th with a 1-under 70, and Roh Seung-yeol tied for 81st with an even par 71.

This season, Kang Seong-hoon tied for 29th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February, and Kim Sung-hyun tied for 4th at the Shriners Children’s Open in October last year.ㅋㅋㅋ벳

The Mexico Open is not held in the United States, and most of the top rankers were absent because the Wells Fargo Championship, with a total prize of 20 million dollars, will be held in North Carolina, USA next week. Only last year’s champion and this year’s Masters winner Yon Ram (Spain) and last year’s runner-up Tony Finau (USA) are known.
