Tottenham have decided to sell Ben Davies (30).
Davies came to prominence at Swansea City and wore a Tottenham shirt in the 2014-15 season. In his first season, Davies lost out to Danny Rose for a starting spot, making just 14 league appearances. However, Davies gradually increased his playing time, especially partnering with Son Heung-min on the left flank.
There was also a crisis. From the 2019-20 season onwards, Davies was criticized by fans for his weakness in attack. However, under Antonio Conte, he was once again valued as a left-back in a three-man defense. This season, he made 30 league appearances and scored two goals.
Tottenham are expected to sell Davies at the end of the season. “Tottenham will listen to offers from other clubs for Davies, regardless of who their next manager is,” said Football Insider on Saturday.
